BUY THE FORMULA YOUR PROCESS USES REPEATEDLY
Each variant is a 10-bar case of one formula at volume pricing. Confirm whether the job calls for aluminum cutting, stainless or steel cutting, coloring, fine polishing, final high luster, or a cut-and-color process before ordering.
The selected formula is supplied as ten matching compound bars.
T88, Green Rouge, T121, Blue Rouge, Yellow Deluxe, Black Magic, White Rouge, Competition Purple, Q36, and SS-77 are listed.

DECISION GUIDE
The exact fit, abrasive construction, grit, machine setup, work material, and finish target all affect the result.
T88 is the documented aluminum-cut formula. SS-77 and Black Magic SS-11 are documented for stainless or steel cutting. T121 is separately listed as Fast-Cut Tripoli; contact Maverick when the exact material-and-wheel sequence is not already qualified.
Green is the documented aluminum-color step; blue and white are fine-polish choices; Yellow Deluxe is documented for copper or brass; Competition Purple is the final high-luster choice.
The regular bar selector describes Q36 as a cut-and-color formula and the case selector identifies it as a one-step option. That product naming does not guarantee one pass on every starting surface.
Review the SDS for the exact compound selected and follow the wheel, machine, workplace, ventilation, guarding, and PPE requirements.
FORMULA-BY-FORMULA BULK BUYING GUIDE
This guide carries the documented roles from Maverick’s regular compound-bar page into the bulk page. Every variant is a case of ten matching bars—not an assortment.
Use for the initial cutting stage on aluminum. The established Maverick sequence pairs T88 with an orange airway wheel and does not use this aluminum Tripoli step for stainless.
The selector identifies T121 as a Fast-Cut Tripoli formula. Use it only where that formula, material, wheel, speed, and process have been qualified; contact Maverick when application matching is uncertain.
The regular compound guide identifies SS-77 for cutting stainless or steel. It is paired with heavy-cut red or orange treated wheels, or a sisal wheel for very heavy cutting. Open the current SS-77 SDS retained from the regular bar page.
Black Magic is another documented cutting choice for stainless or steel. Keep its wheel separate from every later coloring or finishing compound.
Use after the aluminum cutting stage to develop color and shine. Maverick’s established sequence pairs Green Rouge with a clean yellow or pink treated airway wheel.
A fine-polish choice for aluminum or stainless. The regular page positions Competition Purple as the additional higher-luster stage when the finish requires it.
A fine-polish choice for aluminum or stainless that is positioned as a brighter step than Green Rouge, but below Competition Purple for final high luster.
The documented copper-and-brass sequence uses Yellow Deluxe with a clean yellow airway wheel for the first polishing stage after the surface is prepared.
Use as a separate final high-luster stage. The regular page pairs it with a clean white flannel wheel for aluminum or a clean pink wheel in the copper-and-brass sequence.
The regular selector describes Q36 as a cut-and-color formula and the bulk selector identifies it as a one-step option. The name does not guarantee one pass from every starting scratch.
Color is not a universal grit code. Bar appearance may come from abrasive ingredients or added pigment. Choose by the named formula, work material, wheel, and polishing stage—not by color alone. Compare the individual-bar options.
DOCUMENTED POLISHING SEQUENCES
Use a clean wheel dedicated to each compound. The correct result still depends on surface preparation, wheel construction, machine speed, pressure, heat, part geometry, and the actual finish target.
Start with T88 on an orange airway wheel, move to Green Rouge on a clean yellow wheel, then use blue, white, or Competition Purple on another clean finishing wheel only when a finer final stage is required.
Start with SS-77 or Black Magic SS-11 on the appropriate heavy-cut treated or sisal wheel, then move to a separate clean wheel and blue, white, or purple compound as the finish requires.
The regular page uses Yellow Deluxe on a yellow wheel followed by Competition Purple on a clean pink wheel. Its stated 2,200–2,600 RPM range never overrides the lowest machine, wheel, flange, or process rating.

HOW TO USE IT
Do not use a compound bar without first confirming its intended metal, wheel, machine, and safety controls.
Identify the metal, starting condition, required cut, and final finish.
Select the compound formula and a compatible buffing wheel for that stage.
Review the exact SDS and machine and wheel speed limits before setup.
Apply compound according to the established shop process and test on a representative area.
Keep cutting and coloring wheels separate to prevent cross-contamination.
Use the guarding, extraction or collection, personal protective equipment, training, and operating procedures required by the machine, abrasive product, work material, and workplace.
PRODUCT FAQ
Each selected variant contains ten bars of one compound formula.
The established aluminum sequence starts with T88 Brown Tripoli on an orange airway wheel for cutting, then Green Rouge G-16 on a clean yellow wheel for color. Blue, white, or Competition Purple can be used as a separate finer stage when the finish requires it.
The regular compound page identifies Stainless SS-77 and Black Magic SS-11 as cutting formulas for stainless or steel. It pairs them with heavy-cut red or orange treated wheels, or sisal for very heavy cutting, followed by a clean wheel and a finer compound when required.
The documented copper-and-brass sequence uses Yellow Deluxe with a yellow airway wheel, followed by Competition Purple with a clean pink wheel for the higher-luster stage. Prepare tarnish and surface defects before polishing.
No. Color can come from abrasive ingredients or added pigment and is not a universal grit code. Choose the named formula, metal, wheel, and polishing stage; do not substitute bars based on color alone.
Shipping methods, rates, and delivery estimates depend on the order and destination and are shown at checkout. The return policy provides a 30-day window for eligible unused items in original condition and packaging. Restrictions and return-shipping costs apply.
