What does each flap-disc grit do?
For aggressive weld cleanup, stock removal, and surface shaping.
A coarse option for removal when you want a step less aggressive than 36 grit.
For general weld blending, deburring, and medium surface preparation.
For reducing a coarser scratch pattern and preparing for a finer step.
For lighter finishing and surface refinement after the heavier work is complete.
Selection note: pressure, grinder speed, contact angle, work material, and the existing surface all affect the result. Test on a noncritical area when finish requirements are exact.

HOW TO USE A FLAP DISC
Check the disc, grinder, and workpiece before starting

Disconnect power or remove the battery before installing or changing the disc.
